Terms of Service

The agreement between you and [[LEGAL ENTITY NAME]] for use of this site and our car service.

· Last updated 28 September 2026

Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and LEGAL ENTITY NAME ("we", "us"), a car service operating in Marin County, San Francisco, Sonoma County, East Bay.

You can reach us at BUSINESS PHONE or info@ridelikeroyals.com. Our mailing address is BUSINESS MAILING ADDRESS.

Requesting a ride

Submitting a booking request through this site is a request, not a confirmed reservation. Your ride is confirmed when we confirm it with you directly and tell you who your driver will be.

We may decline a request. Common reasons are that no driver is available for the time you asked for, or the trip is outside the areas we serve.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the pickup address, the time and the flight details you give us. A wrong address is the most common cause of a missed pickup.

Prices

We quote a flat rate for your trip before you travel. The rate we confirm is the rate you pay, unless the trip changes — for example an added stop, a materially different destination, or a substantially longer wait than agreed.

We do not use surge or demand-based pricing. Any additional charge is shown as a separate, named item and told to you before it applies.

Gratuity is not included in the quoted fare and is entirely at your discretion.

We do not add sales tax or any other tax to the fare. The rate we confirm is the whole transport charge. The only things that can be added to it are the named items described above, and any gratuity you choose to give.

Cancellation

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Your conduct

We ask that passengers do not smoke or vape in the vehicle, wear seat belts, and do not behave in a way that is unsafe or that puts the driver or other passengers at risk.

A driver may end a trip early where continuing would be unsafe. If that happens, a charge of SAFETY END CHARGE applies and the fare already incurred still stands.

If the vehicle is left needing cleaning beyond normal use, or is damaged, a fee of CLEANING OR DAMAGE FEE applies.

Child seats and accessibility

If you need a child seat, tell us when you book so we can confirm whether the right seat can be fitted before pickup.

If you have an accessibility requirement, please tell us when booking. See our Accessibility Statement.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for carrying out your ride with reasonable care and skill, and for the acts of the driver we send.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. We do not ask you to give any of that up, and a term that tried to would not be worth the page it was written on.

What we do limit is responsibility for knock-on losses when a journey goes wrong — a missed flight or connection, a missed event, a cancelled hotel booking, or lost earnings. Where we are responsible for a loss of that kind, our responsibility is limited to the fare you paid for the ride in question.

We ask you to allow sensible time for airport journeys. Traffic, weather and road closures in the Bay Area are real and we cannot control them.

If you leave something in the vehicle, tell us as soon as you notice. We will make reasonable efforts to find it and get it back to you, but we cannot take responsibility for property left behind.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the State of California.

If something goes wrong, please contact us first. Almost everything is settled with a phone call, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about it.

Where that does not work, any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in COUNTY FOR DISPUTES, California, and both you and we agree to those courts. Either of us may also bring a claim in small claims court.

There is no arbitration clause in these terms, and no class-action waiver. We are not asking you to give up your right to go to court or to join with others — a local car service does not need to, and we would rather you kept it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects a ride you have already booked, we will tell you before that ride rather than rely on you re-reading this page. The terms that apply to a confirmed booking are the ones that were in force when we confirmed it.
